Best Poker Stack Alternatives in 2026 (Free and Paid)

Poker Stack now needs a pass to track sessions. Five poker bankroll trackers compared on free plans, Android, web, import and export, and editing past sessions.

    By PokerRoll ·

Poker Stack was rebuilt as version 3 in August 2026, after more than four years without an update. The new version is built around AI-written summaries of completed sessions, shareable result cards and a six-month bankroll projection. It also changed the deal: active session tracking and editing now need a weekly or yearly pass.

That change, and a few long-standing gaps, are why players look for something else. This page compares five alternatives.

Why players look for a Poker Stack alternative

From the app's own pages and its US App Store reviews:

    • Tracking is no longer free. Version 3 requires a Weekly Pass at $5.99 or a Yearly Pass at $39.99 to track and edit sessions. A September 2026 reviewer pointed others to free alternatives for exactly that reason.
    • Basic functions were missing. Reviews from 2021 to 2025 asked for editing entries, adding past sessions by hand, import and export, statistics over a date range and adding money to the bankroll. Some of this may have changed with version 3, but import and export are still not mentioned on its pages.
    • Support was hard to reach. Two reviews, in 2023 and 2025, describe support emails bouncing during the years without updates.
    • It is iOS only. There is no Android or web version.

What reviewers liked was the simple, clean interface, and that carries into version 3.

    1. PokerRoll: free to track, with an assistant for your own results

PokerRoll is our app. If the AI side is what drew you to Poker Stack, PokerRoll's PokeAI takes a different approach: instead of summarising a session, it answers the question you ask about your own results, such as which format you win most in, with the numbers worked out by a calculation engine and each answer labelled with how it was produced.

Tracking is free, on iOS, Android and a full web app on one account. Live sessions record rebuys, add-ons and bounties as they happen, past sessions can be added and edited, multi-day tournaments are recorded day by day, and deposits and withdrawals keep the bankroll right.

Its limits: no import from other apps yet, no staking or social features, and the free plan in the mobile apps shows the last 30 days of sessions.

Who should stay with Poker Stack

Stay if the AI summaries and shareable cards are what you use, you play on iOS only, and the Yearly Pass fits your budget. Version 3 is new, so it may well add what earlier reviews asked for; check its update notes before you leave.

How to switch from Poker Stack

    1. Save your totals. Poker Stack's pages describe cloud backup and restore, not export to other apps, so take screenshots of your overall results and bankroll.
    2. Start from your current bankroll. In the new app, record your current bankroll as a deposit and log sessions from today. That works for every app here, including PokerRoll, which cannot import yet.
    3. Log every session from the first day, including the losing ones, so the new history is complete.

The comparison of seven bankroll tracker apps covers the wider field, and the poker session log guide explains what is worth recording.
